Jess Rinker is a children’s author and writing teacher currently living in the mountains of West Virginia. She writes nonfiction and fiction, and has several titles out and forthcoming. Currently she’s working on the middle grade novels The Dare Sisters: Shipwrecked, sequel to The Dare Sisters, due out September 2021, and The Fellowship of the Castle, due out Summer 2022. She can also be found outside gardening, hiking and exploring the natural world when she’s not writing or reading.

Born in Poland and raised in the United States, Anna Staniszewski grew up loving stories in both Polish and English. She was a Writer-in-Residence at the Boston Public Library and a winner of the Susan P. Bloom Discovery Award, and she currently teaches in the MFA Writing for Children program at Simmons University. She is the author of over twenty books for young readers, including Dogosaurus Rex, illustrated by Kevin Hawkes; the Once Upon a Fairy Tale chapter book series, illustrated by Macky Pamintuan; and The Wonder of Wildflowers.

Debbie Dadey grew up in Kentucky and now lives in a log cabin in TN with her husband and a greyhound rescue. Her children live along the east coast and continue to inspire her. A former first grade teacher and school librarian, she is the author and co-author of 176 traditionally published books. Her first children’s book Vampires Don’t Wear Polka Dots, co-authored with Marcia Thornton Jones, became The Adventures of the Bailey School Kids series with sales of over 43 million. Winter Princess is the newest in Debbie’s Mermaid Tales, a multi-cultural series from Simon and Schuster. She also so-authored an ebook called Writing for Kids: The Ultimate Guide.
