Tara wants nothing more than to live and breathe literature.
While every other person grew up wanting to be Cinderella, Tara dreamed about being Belle. Not because she wanted a Beast to call her own. No, she wanted to spend her days with her nose stuck in a book and to find a home with a massive library.
Before coming to Corvisiero, Tara interned for Entangled Publishing reading Romance, YA Fantasy, and YA Contemporary novels. She then joined the Corvisiero team in the summer of 2018 to expand her wings and become an agent.
When Tara isn’t reading manuscripts and working with authors, she is a full-time recruiter and part-time student working on her Bachelors in English. She’s happily married with two fur-babies in Portland, Oregon.
Monica Hay earned her Master’s degree in Book Publishing at Portland State University and now works at ABRAMS Books as a Marketing Associate. She writes young adult fantasy and is currently rewriting a novel. She hopes to write fantasy similar to Kristen Ciccarelli, Sarah J Maas, and Mindee Arnett, whose works have heavily influenced her. When she’s not reading or writing, she explores New York, buys too many books for her Brooklyn apartment to hold, and drinks a lot of coffee. She loves all types of books, but has a special place in her heart for fantasy and incredible prose.
Jessica Bayliss, author of YA thriller, Ten After Closing, and YA horror, Broken Chords, is a clinical psychologist by day and a writer all the time. She has been a lover of thrilling and spooky tales since her days scanning VHS rental shelves—admittedly with eyes half-averted from the gory covers. In the psychology world, she has more than twenty years of experience and training in the cognitive-behavioral model. She’s a psychotherapist, a teacher, and a researcher. A life-long lover of scary tales, she also loves to eat, cook, and exercise—in that order—and is a firm believer that coffee makes the world a better place. She is a Senior Editor for Allegory Magazine, the PAL Coordinator for the Southern New England SCBWI region, and info on her services for authors can be found on her website, JessicaBaylissWrites.com
