I’ve come to appreciate the four-act-structure myself very much – specifically since the midpoint features prominently in basically any type of structure anyway. So thanks for the confirmation of this thinking.
I’m struggling a bit when I want to enhance this approach by properly including B-story and non-linear integration of backstory … finding the right and most effective points for intersection while having a truthful B-story going on.
