Sponsor Full Admission for Other Writers
We’re trying something new this year! Part of our mission is to make the con as affordable as possible, but we have unavoidable expenses that we need to cover (website costs, staff compensation, speaker honoraria, etc.). We know that even a small entry fee can be a big deal, so we’re making it possible for you to sponsor admission for another writer! If you can afford to buy an extra ticket we’ll make sure it goes to someone who wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend.
How It Works
When you purchase this product you’re buying a Full Admission ticket on behalf of a stranger. If you would like to gift admission to a specific user you’ll have to make arrangements with them directly. If you’d like to upgrade your own ticket (all Campaign purchases come bundled with General Admission) there are other product listings for that.
WriteOnCon will hold a giveaway prior to the 2020 conference for writers who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford to attend. Writers will be asked for a brief statement of need, then the names will go into a virtual hat and we’ll randomly select winners.
The winners will be granted Full Admission tickets, and they’ll be able to attend the con live with access to the 2020 content until Sun, Mar 1, 2020.
