As a debut author/Illustrator, should I avoid rhyme completely? Or maybe save that one for a later submission when I finally get an agent or book deal?

How do kids respond to your coding books?

Curious. What are your thoughts about making up a word to rhyme?
I’m talking once over a 500 word PB, not throughout the story.

For example: funniest and bunniest

Where bunniest plays off of the character of a bunny.

Thank you, Josh – You are just like your books – big-hearted and whimsical.

Do you have to keep the same rhythm thru the whole book?
