A.F. Harrold
A.F. Harrold is an English poet and author who writes for both children and adults. His Fizzlebert Stump and Greta Zargo series are the funny ones, The Imaginary and The Song From Somewhere Else are the slightly strange-ish ones, and Things You Find in a Poet’s Beard is full of poetry. He has the good fortune to work with amazing illustrators on his books — Emily Gravett, Levi Pinfold, Chris Riddell, Joe Todd-Stanton and Sarah Horne — and is ceaselessly astonished by what they do. He visits a lot of schools and libraries and literary festivals where he generally just shouts poems at children. He has a beard and takes a lot of baths. He lives in Reading with a stand up comedian and two cats.
