Jennifer Bushroe
After graduating from the University of Arizona with a BA in Creative Writing, Jennifer Bushroe traveled to London to do research for one of her books, fell in love with Kensington Gardens, and promptly swore on its statue of Peter Pan that she’d never grow up. She fulfills this oath daily by dancing like nobody’s watching, eating dessert before dinner, and writing speculative fiction. Jennifer is also a member of SCBWI and a volunteer for the Tucson Festival of Books. She was a finalist in The Dream Foundry’s 2020 Writer Contest, and a 2021 Rhysling Award nominee. Her stories and poems are published in On Spec, DreamForge Magazine, Mermaids Monthly, and more.
A nine-year veteran of WriteOnCon, Jennifer is excited to be working behind the scenes of such an awesome conference. To stay energized, she plans on subsisting on a diet of cake, popcorn, and a deadly cocktail of coffee/tea. In the meantime, hop on over to her Goodreads to recommend a book (especially if it’s about fairy tales, history, or mythology), or Tweet at her some gardening tips (as she is actively trying to overcome her brown thumb).
