After graduating from the University of Arizona with a BA in Creative Writing, Jennifer Bushroe traveled to London to do research for one of her books, fell in love with Kensington Gardens, and promptly swore on its statue of Peter Pan that she’d never grow up. She fulfills this oath daily by dancing like nobody’s watching, eating dessert before dinner, and writing speculative fiction. Jennifer is a member of SCBWI and the Friends of the Pima County Public Library, as well as a yearly attendee of and volunteer for the Tucson Festival of Books. She was recently awarded a “Silver Honorable Mention” by L. Ron Hubbard’s Writers of the Future Contest. You can find her prose and poetry in Unsettling Wonder, The Future Fire, and On Spec with more work forthcoming from Kaleidotrope and Space & Time.
A seven-year veteran of WriteOnCon, Jennifer is excited to be working behind the scenes of such an awesome conference. To stay energized, she plans on subsisting on a diet of cake, popcorn, and a deadly cocktail of coffee/tea. In the meantime, hop on over to her Goodreads to recommend a book (especially if it’s about fairy tales, history, or mythology), or Tweet at her a Random Fact (of which she is a collector).
