Sally J. Pla is the award-winning author of The Someday Birds and Stanley Will Probably Be Fine, middle-grade novels about kids facing new adventures and learning to feel more at ease in the world. The Someday Birds received the 2018 Dolly Gray Children’s Literature Award, and was named a Bank Street Best Children’s Book, NYPL Best Children’s Book, Goodreads Choice Nominee, and Nerdies Award lister, as well as appearing on state award lists. Both books are Junior Library Guild Selections with starred reviews.
Sally’s new picture book, Benji, The Bad Day, and Me is about sibling rivalry and neurodiversity, all wrapped in a big blue blanket.
