Her picture book 7 Ate 9 won the 2018 Irma S. Black Award and the SCBWI Crystal Kite. She’s the author of Little Red Gliding Hood, The Monstore, The Upper Case and more. Her newest book Bloop, illustrated by Mike Boldt, releases this summer!

Tara lives in New Jersey with her husband, two daughters, and a stuffed purple orangutan named Normal Norman.
