This is such a helpful way to approach the query letter. The writing process can be so daunting, so to view your own writing as being cathartic for you forces you to view it differently. As a new writer, I often fall victim to believing my work isn’t good enough but to tell yourself to simply be happy with your work is a great way to approach the query process. Thank you for the wonderful advice.

When you send in the letter with the manuscript, do they prefer a particular Font Style?

Times New Roman is industry standard, 12 point. You can always check agent’s websites.
