Hi Hannah: Thanks for this great, helpful post. Can you talk about how to figure out who will be the right editor for your book? Similar to finding an agent, it seems like it’s making a good match.

For sure! Your agent comes in super helpful for this. It’s definitely all about finding the right match, and your agent makes those connections for you. They might have a particularly good relationship with an editor from having just had coffee with them and knowing exactly what they are looking for at that moment, having done a deal with them before, or simply knowing their manuscript wishlist.
